Short version: nothing on CryptoDEGX is financial advice, crypto is genuinely risky, and you should never invest money you can’t afford to lose. The longer version follows — please actually read it.
Not financial advice
CryptoDEGX is a publication, run by an independent team. We write news, education, analysis, and opinion about cryptocurrency and fintech. We are not licensed financial advisors, investment advisors, brokers, or tax professionals in any jurisdiction, and nothing on this site should be treated as personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
When we analyze a token, review an exchange, or discuss a strategy, we are sharing research and opinion — not telling you what to do with your money. What makes sense for one person’s situation can be a terrible idea for another’s.
Crypto is high-risk
We like this industry, but we won’t sugarcoat it:
- Crypto prices are extremely volatile. Assets regularly lose 50–90% of their value, and some go to zero permanently.
- Exchanges and protocols can be hacked, become insolvent, or freeze withdrawals. It has happened to some of the largest names in the industry.
- Leverage and derivatives can wipe out your entire position faster than you can react.
- Regulation varies by country and changes fast. Something legal today may be restricted tomorrow where you live.
- Transactions are typically irreversible. Sending funds to the wrong address usually means they’re gone.
Never invest more than you can afford to lose entirely.
Do your own research (seriously)
Treat our content as a starting point, not a conclusion. Before making any financial decision, verify facts from primary sources, read official documentation, check that a platform is available and compliant in your country, and — for significant decisions — consult a licensed professional who knows your personal situation.
Accuracy and freshness
We fact-check before publishing and cite sources, but crypto changes daily. Fees, supported assets, promotions, and regulations shift after articles go live. The publication or update date on each article tells you when the information was checked. If you spot an error, tell us at contact@cryptodegx.com — we correct mistakes, as described in our Editorial Policy.
We may hold positions
People who write for this site may personally hold cryptocurrencies, including assets covered in our content. We disclose relevant holdings within articles where a meaningful conflict of interest could exist, but you should assume that anyone writing about crypto has some exposure to it.
Affiliate relationships
Some links on this site earn us commissions. This is disclosed transparently in our Affiliate Disclosure and does not change our editorial conclusions — but you deserve to know it exists.
No guarantees of outcome
Past performance — of any asset, strategy, or platform — does not predict future results. Any examples, backtests, or hypothetical scenarios in our content are illustrations, not promises.
Your responsibility
By using this site, you accept that any decisions you make are your own responsibility, and that the CryptoDEGX team is not liable for losses or damages arising from reliance on our content, as detailed in our Terms of Use.
